Default The next awesome cards collection

I started a similar thread in the Marvel section. I remember when I went into my LCS all those years ago and everyone was talking about the Marvel Masterpieces of the 1996 serie.
They were amazing indeed. I am completely out of the loop as far as cards collection goes, but I recently found my old 1995 Marvel Metal collection and I have an itch to start a new serie.
Maybe some of you guys can talk to me about a new upcoming collection which is supposed to be "all that" but in the DCU
Can't wait to hear your suggestions!
    Thanks peeps!

The only "new" trading cards I know that are about DC is from Cryptozoic and the art is straight garbage. https://www.cryptozoic.com/trading-c...-trading-cards

Rebirth has a bunch of nice looking covers - Stjepan Sejic, Joshua Middleton, Bill Sienkiewicz, Lee Bermejo, Jorge Jimenez, Artgerm Lau. Would be cool if they made trading cards of those.

That said, I'd actually much rather buy a collected edition in oversized hardcover coffee table/art book format.
    Currently Following:
Action Comics, Deathstroke, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Super Sons, Superman, Superwoman, Teen Titans, Titans, Trinity, Wild Storm, Monstress, I Hate Fairyland, Black Monday Murders, Kill Or Be Killed, Redlands, Crosswind, Astonishing X-Men, Captain America, Daredevil, Defenders, Hawkeye, Tales of Suspense, American Gods, Animosity, Black Eyed Kids, Red Sonja

I've noticed Marvel are starting to release trading cards again, but nothing I'm interested in collecting.
The older stuff is generally much cooler.
The Spider-Man Fleer series from 94 and 95 were pretty cool (94 in particular).
The DC 95 Legends also has a special place in my heart. Although there's no original artwork, I LOVED the first 9 cards of the set and the inserts were nice too.
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

'95 DC Legends Power Chrome set is awesome. I am partial to Impel's '92 DC Comics Cosmic Cards set. Even though it doesn't have Batman characters in it, I love it because it includes Golden Age, Silver Age, and Modern Age characters all in the same set, drawn by actual comic book artists. Plus they all had relevant stats on the back, like First Appearance and origin synopsis. http://www.tradingcarddb.com/Gallery...mpel-DC-Comics

I agree...and the New 52 versions to boot. [thumbs down]

Is this a real card collection or a joke? Hard to believe.
"History of the DC Universe" by Wolfman and Perez, when the DCU use to make sense.

Eww, they can just as well go and say that they don't give a damn. Just to look at that super girl is enough to get your eyes bleeding.
