Should the adult Jean Grey ever return, I'd have her join the Avengers and begin a romance with Captain America. Because it would cause an internet meltdown that would be as interesting as the storyline.
Love the idea of the Gambit/Black Cat pairing, LordAllMighty. That is so obvious it's amazing it hasn't been done before.
Iron Man and Emma Frost, well at least before Civil War. Maybe not so much anymore.
Nightcrawler and Mockingbird or Spider-Woman - either way, they both have mad athletic skills and to me at least, more so with Mockingbird than Spider-Woman, similar personalities. Feisty, witty, yet driven by noble sentiments.
Bishop and Captain Marvel. After all the crappy decisions they've made and the sorrow they've put on people, they kind of deserve one another.

Their personalities are different enough to both clash, but also complement each other. Spidey (like Cyclops back in the day) is an idealist, Emma is pragmatic. One is a corn ball, the other is a "snob." For fiction writing, couples always seem to benefit from a bit of a Yin and Yang. (Obviously Scott and Emma were different types, as is Peter and MJ) Seeing the two interact together can be hilarious.

However, despite the personality differences, characters have shared experiences though. Both were bullied in high school. Both started off as very selfish individuals before tragedy struck and changed their m.o. (Peter's loss of Uncle Ben, Emma's loss of the Hellions) Both had careers as school teachers at some point in their lives. Both graduated from E.S.U. Peter's a genius inventor and Emma back in the day was no slouch. Think how Parker Industries would have benefited if Pete let someone with Emma's aptitude for running a business manage day to day operations. (Not to mention her psychic abilities would have easily flushed out the various corporate spies that seem to have plagued the company during Slott's run.

Besides, "Marvel Adventure" Emma Frost was totally crushing on him!

Hell, yes. Utterly cosigned. And for my own contributions . . .

Spider-Man/Magik. Peter Parker is a man of science and ultimately an idealist. Illyana Rasputin is a mistress of magic and her experiences in Limbo and since have made her a lot more cynical and pragmatic. Both of them, however, have a great capacity for snark and incredible willpower to endure the adversities that they have and come out the other end anywhere near sane, let alone still heroic, although they don't always have the healthiest coping methods.

Spider-Gwen/Laura Kinney. Their team-up in the All-New Wolverine Annual was quite amusing, and I'd like to see them interact more with each other. Romantically would be a bonus, and given both of them are dealing with a huge amount of trauma and guilt from their respective lives and circumstances, I could see them leaning on each other for support and maybe more.

Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly or Kaine Parker)/Laura Kinney. Clones, clones, and more clones. Clones made to be living weapons, but rebelling against their intended purpose and trying to become their own people while also living up to the examples of their genetic templates, with whom they've developed familial relationships. The Scarlet Spiders consider themselves each other's brothers and consider the original Spider-Man their brother as well, and vice versa, while Laura and Logan consider themselves daughter and father. And yes, as long as Ultimate characters are still emerging in 616, I'd also include Ultimate Jessica Drew with Laura, since they have all the above in common with the addition of both being gender-swapped clones of their progenitors.

If villains can be included as well, I'd like to see a team-up between the Jackal (Miles Warren) and Mister Sinister. Chris Yost's Scarlet Spider and Avenging Spider-Man/Superior Spider-Man Team-Up had Jackal raiding Sinister's labs for resources for his own cloning and genetic engineering experiments with Spider-Man's DNA, and Wolverines #5-6 had Mister Sinister effectively retaliate against Jackal by making a small cluster of Ben Reilly clones dressed as the original Scarlet Spider. I could see them joining forces in the name of advancing their own genetic research and treating each other merely as steppingstones to that goal. In that same vein, I could see Ben Reilly in his current iteration turning to Sinister's work for a cure to his own (and maybe also Kaine's) clone degeneration and maybe allying with Miss Sinister, who would be plotting to use him (and Kaine) as the means to learn more about Spider-Man's DNA after Mister Sinister's prior encounters with the web-slinger (in X-Men/Spider-Man and more recently Spider-Man and the X-Men). Speaking of Sinister, Madelyne Pryor and Scarlet Spider would be a good matchup as well, with both of them striving to define themselves as more than mere clones, as people in their own right and not cast aside as just bad copies of someone else.
The spider is always on the hunt.

Rogue and Shocker came to my mind as well. I kind of wanted that little group to stick together longer.

    • Shuri & Gentle: work in unison to defend some threat to Wakanda. I could see them being the rulers of Wakanda someday
    • Iceman & Living Lightning: please let Bobby cross paths with Miguel. They'd be so fun together.
    • Speed & Pixie: I'd love a lighthearted story where they cross paths. They're both powerful mutants, mischievous and so fun. Better yet, have them both join X-Men Blue
    • Brother Voodoo & Gambit: trouble in New Orleans

    Team-Up :

Invisible Woman and Storm - two of my favorite characters and badasses so it needs to happen

Invisible Woman and Emma Frost - they are so different and their previous interactions were hilarious to me. I think in the end they would come to respect each other.

Invisible Woman and Cecilia Reyes - I want Sue to be a doctor, so Cecilia could teach her a thing or two about medicine while Sue teaches her about force-fields.

    Romantic:

    Storm and Black Panther

    Storm and Thor

I always wanted to see this. Mostly under the theory that a lot of what made Rogue who she was may have come from absorbing Carol Danvers. What if some of the aspects of Rogue that Gambit fell in love weren't actually from Rogue? What if the part of Rogue that fell in love with Gambit didnt originate from her? It'd explain the sudden shift in her attitude towards him following "wipe" when Hope touched her (other than questionable writing that is). Make for a good story.

As far as team ups go...I was thinking Gambit and the Black Fox. ( The Black Fox was a jewel thief introduced in the Spiderman books in 1980's. He is in his mid to late '60's and is always trying to pull of "the big score" so he can retire in style. Once he endered the wrath of Dr.Doom by stealing and pawning a jewel that was a Doom family heirloom.)

    Romantic:

Dr. Nemesis and Dr. June Covington/Toxic Doxie - Made this suggestion before and it seemed popular. Both are geniuses specialising in chemistry, with egos visible from outer space and a propensity for non-stop chatter. They get stuck in the same lab during some violent quarantine scenario and have to pool their resources to escape...but they mostly just bicker over who's more science and delight in pointing out the flaws in one another's thinking. Eventually things hit their boiling point, June throws her glasses away because it's serious bizniz, then just throws Nemesis over a table full of conical flasks and complicated charts (James is such a bottom, y'all know it). When the nearest available heroes finally pull a rescue, the two walk out separately, in their underwear, blushing furiously and refusing to answer anyone's questions.

Dani Moonstar and Alejandra Jones/Ghost Rider - This is not a heterosexual interaction. You don't jump on a strange girl's bike and hug her hips all the way down to Hell - especially when said girl looks like she just fell out of a Judas Priest album cover - unless you're really hoping the night ends with a vigorous...a-hem...boning. Yeah I went there. Easy targets for the win.

Selene, Madelyne Prior and Amora the Enchantress - This team-up was about the only worthwhile thing we got out of Brian Wood's adjectiveless run. I'd be down for bringing it back, albeit without that weird angle where Amora is acting subservient to Selene (I mean really, Amora's a goddess by birthright, Selene only kinda-sorta became one for 5 seconds then got kebab'd). They're friends, they're equals, they're delightfully evil, and in short order they decide to be a gay threesome because A) look at them, and B) all the men in their lives are hilarious disappointments.

    Team-Ups:

Cable and the Punisher - Big Bros' Big Guns Bonding Time. Just Nate and Frank down the range sating their mutual affection for all things firearm. Why hasn't this happened? There was a Punisher mini once that was entirely dedicated to cataloguing every real-world weapon he'd killed people with, you can't tell me this is a dumber idea than that.

Cyclops and Daredevil - One has power bursting from his eyes! The other has power dependent on his blindness! Together they will...ah, probably hit the nearest pub and rack up a mighty tab while commiserating about their respective terrible histories with women.

Domino and Black Cat - Seems like the most obvious thing in the world. They both get hired for some mercenary gig, immediately piss each other off, then when it all kicks off, everything goes wrong and they're constantly falling from rusty fire escapes that seemed safe a moment ago, or getting blinded because an overhead pigeon accurately crapped on their face, etc. Cue inevitable flared tempers and shouting match - "no YOU'RE the one with the poorly-defined malfunctional bullsh*t superpower!"
The X-Books Board is wretched and does not deserve the Domino Appreciation Thread.

Adult Jean Grey and Hawkeye, romantically speaking. I think they'd be good together and nobody would be expecting it.

Illyana and Daimon Hellstrom, again romantically.

Adult Cyclops and Gamora, romantically. She would not put up with the whining from the way he was before he was taken over by Apocalypse, nor would she be a constant cheerleader for his alpha maleness after he was taken over by Apocalypse. He would benefit from standing on his own two feet and being able to just be himself in a relationship, while still having a romantic relationship.

Storm and Doctor Voodoo, romantically. I'm not saying it because they're both black. It's because Storm has that mystical, ethereal quality which I think would go well with Doctor Voodoo.

Teamups- Pei and Generation X(2017)- I thought it would be cool if Pei would attend the Jean Grey school so her joining Jubillee's class would be fun.

    Romance- Colleen and Nightcrawler
    Shang-Chi and Rogue
    - both of these characters can be stoic martial artists so putting them with a partner that would get them to lighten up would be interesting.

The comicbook characters Colleen and Nightcrawler in a romance? What about the comicbook character Amanda Sefton then?
Also, would it work out unlike the budding Colleen-Cyclops romance?
