Default Your first Fantastic 4 experience

The very first exposure I had to F4 was via the first animated series from the 60s. Really loved that show as a kid. Wish it was available on either DVD or Blu-Ray.

My first F4 comic featured the following members: Ben, Reed, Johnny and MEDUSA!! She having left Reed was an ongoing subplot that played out for MONTHS! For a long time, that WAS the F4 to me.

What was your first F4 experience??

I like them okay but my first exposure to the Fantastic Four was pretty forgettable.

My first F4 experience was actually the first Fox movie, when I was a kid I loved it(of course when I grew up and started to care about quality and plot I didn't like it so much) but honestly that had one of the first experiences to superheros in general and can actually attribute it to some of the love I have towards superheros today.
Some of it. Most of it came from Spider-Man 2.

The first FF comic book I ever bought (2 minutes ago) was FF #258. The FF weren't in it.

The old cartoon in the 90's I recall an episode that was a remake of the Galactus trilogy & An episode with Impossible Man but beyond that I only learned about the characters through an assortment of different things like drinking cups, happy meals or guest appearances from the other Marvel shows. When it came to comic knowledge of the team I rented a lot of those big DK encyclopedias from the library a lot & it was through that I learned of stuff like Annihilus, Franklin & Valeria, other villains & side characters, & the Marvel Knights series.

My first experience to any of the the characters was in a reprint of what I've just googled must have been Amazing Spider Annual 4 (I wouldn't have known what it was at the time) in some kind of big Spider-Man book. I would have been very young at the time - at a guess, 8 or so, maybe younger, but I really don't know ) The first time I bought/read a Fantastic Four comic would have been Fantastic Four 284, when Sue Storm declared that she was now to be known as the Invisible Woman.

My first issue of the Fantastic Four was #265. My dad knew I was a huge She Hulk fan and thought I would like it. It's become one of my favorite comics of all time.

The run with She-Hulk was good. Sounds silly, but it did work. I guess you had to be there...

I loved it, I read the entire run years ago and I am trying to get them all again. It probably helped that I didn't know much about Ben Grimm so it didn't bother me that he was replaced.

The 90s tv show for me. The same year I also got a Thing figure, the one that came with a coat and hat, and I actually think that more so then the show was what made me a fan.

They were playing reruns of the 90s cartoon around the time of the first movie (2005), so that was my first exposure to the team. Then I saw the movie, liked it as a kid but hate it now. But what really got me really interested in them was through the first Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game.

    Fantastic Four #176
My Mom picked it up for me at the local Sparkle Market in August of 1976.
Not only did it have the FF in it, but also the creators of the FF, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Along with the creators of the the book, Roy Thomas and George Perez.
    I was hooked.
