Can we suggest topics for CBR articles?

I think it would be great if CBR members can also suggest ( and even contribute an article which of CBR needs to check the whole thing first if it passes their standards) topics for articles to be featured on this site. If it can be done, who do we have to contact or reach to?

The main site doesn't have a strong presence on the forums anymore. You can try their Contribution Program, but keep in mind they're looking for experienced writers.

Those days are long gone, this is basically a separate entity now. I'm surprised some days that it even still exists.

But none of us want that to happen. Even though it's a relatively small community at this point, I am fond of this board and would be sorry to see it go. Maybe we'd be better off if we disengaged from the main site or what it's become, before the new owners indeed decide to retire the boards.

Ugh, let's not start this again. Back when Valnet took over lots of people thought the forums were going to disappear. Well, they haven't.
And despite some minor hits from CBR News articles not appearing on the forums anymore, traffic is pretty much the same.

I never thought that the traffic had dropped necessarily. I was just under the impression (perhaps wrongly) that the main site was what made the profit and the forums largely existed to bring people to the main site. With the forums so disconnected from the site now, it just looks like an overhead with no real gain.
