Default Why do people like Wolfsbane more than Feral?

I'm a fan of both characters but I seem to like Feral more. I'm not sure of myself though if it's only because Feral is less loved , less used and less popular because well, I don't even know much about Feral.

But can anybody tell me why people like Wolfsbane more than Feral? Is it because of Wolfsbane is more popular? and in general, is X-factor the more popular team than X-Force?

I also would like to know the following.

    1. Who has better powers/skills/abilities? 3. Who is bigger? Who is faster? Who is stronger?

    2. Who is the better fighter?

    3. Are they somehow related to each other?

This, basically. Rahne is also more atypical for a feral character than Maria.

And, no, X-Factor was not more popular than X-Force. New Mutants is, though.

    1) Rahne's powers are more versatile, since she can shift from human to half-wolf to full wolf. I expect she's stronger, but Feral's faster.

    2) Rahne has more training, but Feral's vicious. I couldn't call it.

    3) No they aren't related. Feral is Thornn's sister, though.

As for why she's less popular, there's the little matter of Feral murdering several members of her family, including her toddler brother.

ETA: She nearly murdered Cannonball, too.

Rahne can morph into a pack of wolves now (a very recent development) so that puts her over the top for me.

Generally better design. Feral is derivative. Rhane was created by Claremont while Feral was created by Liefeld.

Perhaps, Rahne genetically bonded with Jamie during a round of sex...

I can't stand this new power of hers. I hope they retcon it because it really doesn't make any sense.

True that. It doesn't... But, it might be fun to see said "wolf pack" transform into a bunch of tiny, individual, Rahnes'

This may have already been mentioned, as I haven't read all the replies yet, but the two actually fought each other during X-tinction Agenda and Feral basically got her ass handed to her by the more experienced Wolfsbane.

I always found Feral to be very one dimensional (granted I've only read her in Liefeld's X-force and when Jeph loeb was writing Wolverine, so make of that what you will), whereas Rahne has always been a nuanced character imo
