Yeah, more fun choices. I love Gargoyle, of the B-team Defenders. I could read about a whole team of Guardsmen, with variations to their armors (one stealth, one high-speed, one 'heavy mettle' strength-suit, etc.).

And those original Guardians. I have a soft spot for Nikki. Super-fast reflexes should put her on par with Spider-Man, or at least Gambit or Daredevil or Joystick, when it comes to leaping around and the battlefield. She's a dead shot with her energy pistols, and able to absorb incoming energy, releasing the excess through her fiery hair-corona-thing. She's just a terror when faced with enemies who use energy weapons (like aliens), as she's nearly impossible to hit, and when you *do* hit her, it just juices her up even more, and in the meantime, she's blasting through your forces like they are moving in slow motion, which, to her, they might as well be! Nikki's got some serious potential, but always seems to be disregarded as 'the token chick' and treated almost like she's not even powered, in favor of Martinex, Charlie-27, Yondu and Starhawk. For that matter, if the original Guardians came back, I'd want Aleta full time as Starhawk, and the dude Starhawk to be locked away in her mind and never spoken of, since that's pretty much what he deserves. It's totally her turn.

Is there some reason Marvel has never brought back the Men in Black in continuity? They own them, they've published some MiB comics, and they seem like they'd be pretty damn easy to fit into the Marvel universe.

Something tells me the MiB don't really gel well with how the MU has become. You can't really have this illumatic organization that keeps alien civilization a secret in order to maintain stability to the general public when this world is fully aware of Gods, Mutants, Underground Civilizations, & Aliens on a daily basis.

Maybe they'd work better as a period piece like during the 50's when Aliens weren't as overblown as they are now.

Can't see Veil ever coming back, considering she ended Avengers Academy depowered.

You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

I assume this is a reply to my comment, and if it is, you are correct. My excuse is I haven't read Avengers Academy in a few years, so I forgot what happens in some of it. The upside to this mistake is it gives me a reason to re-read Avengers Academy.

Yeah, that comment was aimed at you. Basically, Veil's story is wrapped up in a neat little bow. Nothing more to tell about Maddy.

Maybe not in a solo or on a team but just pop up.

I don't mean a reboot back to an old version but some on who has been missing for a while or a long while.
    The older the better.

    I would like to see

    Doombot from Avengers AI
    Machine Man
    Spitfire
    Gargoyle

    Nighthawk (Earth-31916)

Since there are international superheroes like Captain Britain, Guillotine, Euroforce, Sabra and a few others had popped up in Secret Empire tie-ins, there are others I like to see them pop up.

    - Darkstar and the Winter Guard of Russia
    - Spitfire, Pete Wisdom, Lila Cheney and Liam Connaughton of Britain
    - Big Hero Six of Japan
    - Siryn of Ireland
    - Shaman and Talisman of Canada
    - Kristoff Vernard of Latveria

    Those outside of New York
    - Texas Twister, Firebird and Living Lightning of Texas

In fact, I rather see more superheroes who operate outside New York than those same old characters.
