    Lol! So true!

You forgot to add old to fat and bald.
You are dismissive making fun of even the notion of it?
Yet again (from page 3 of this thread), it's not like this can't and hasn't be celebrated.

None of the reason you list (including older) mean he (or other characters like him) can't or shouldn't be celebrated a hero!
Maybe look through the thread, there are actually several great examples.

I am dismissive of nothing and of no one.

I mentioned "old" because the poster listed "fat" and "bald"; people today are all so against those who are old, fat and bald. TV is full of making fun of men who, at a certain age, begin to lose their hair "bald", gain weight "fat" and who are no longer young "old". I do Not condone this in the least bit.

None of those traits stops anyone in comics from being Superheroes and in real life from being Heroes!

There's not enough superheroes with facial hair either.

Stylistically facial hair is "in" right now, plus we expect our superheroes to remain perfectly shaved all the time. Few guys do that.

Unless they are on TV. Then we get Green Arrow, Black Lightning, Mon-El.

Damian Wayne the Batman 666 version is bald. I can see young Damian also going bald since he is the most Spartan and dedicated of the Young heroes. His current hairstyle look too styled. I can't see a warrior who lives and breathes battle applying product. That's just not something he would waste time doing.

Arkham Tim Drake was also sporting a buzz cut

Didn't read the whole thread so this may have been mentioned already, but...

...John Smith, Red Tornado's alter ego, used to be bald. Not sure if that's still the case or not.

    Telly Sevalas? Patrick Stewart?

Yul Brynner, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Jason Statham, Mark Strong, at this point Bruce Willis.

I blame Patrick Stewart. All my life, my friends were losing their hair and I wasn't, and I was winning.

Suddenly, bald was virile? What? No fair! You can't change the rules now, I was winning!
