    Daughters of the Dragon 2099

In the year 2099, K'un L'un has faded into legend and the legacy of the Iron Fist has vanished. Until six young women are chosen as the new Immortal Weapons.

Will post names and histories later.

I came up with a Dragon Soldiers arc for Iron Fist, back in the day, that would fit well in the 2099 setting.

Iron Fist has been deceived all these years, as Shou-Lao doesn't want to endanger himself / reveal his presence to the other dragons of the world by just blatantly advertising what he's doing with this 'Iron Fist' business.

But 100 years later, it's not as big a deal. And so the Dragon Soldiers ride. The 'Iron Fist' of this generation openly carries the power of the Dragon's Claw, her attacks striking with the power and toughness of the dragon's iron-hard talons. With her, three others travel.

A (slightly) heavyset Korean man wields what was once known as the Flawless Jade Shield, but is actually the the Dragon's Scales, a green hemisphere or shell of force that is as immovable an object, as the 'Iron Fist' is an unstoppable force. He fights with a primarily defensive style, all about blocks and redirects and throws, and is an EMT and the 'team philosopher,' preferring diplomacy and compromise to conflict and aggression. He wears an old-style Iron Fist outfit, with the colored elements in dark green and gold trim (but has more practical boots, not little booties).

A tiny middle-aged Chinese woman walks with a staff, wearing an Iron Fist outfit with the colored elements in sky blue, with gold trim. She manifests her chi into glowing blue wings of force, which she can use defensively (not nearly so durably as the Flawless Jade Shield, but she can still block bullets with them, even if this shatters the force wings and requires her to reform them), offensively, to generate a sudden wind, or to strike and sweep people from their feet, or, to a much limited extent, to glide short distances, or hover above the earth. They complement her fighting style, which keeps her off the ground for most of the combat, leaping above her foes and raining kicks and staff blows down upon them, while pushing upwards with each strike, so that she barely ever touches the ground. Older than the rest, she's a parent, and spends her downtime texting her kids, one of whom has just had a child of her own. (Crime-fighting grannies!)

A flat-faced Thai woman with a bodybuilder's frame like Shang-Chi's 'Sister Hammer,' the last Dragon Warrior wears a Iron Fist outfit with red colors and gold trim, and uses a brutal Thai kickboxing technique that involves unnecessary amounts of cursing, spitting, biting and 'dirty fighting.' The gift of the dragon allows her to focus her chi into the 'Six Fiery Invectives,' or, more accurately, the Dragon's Breath, allowing her to produce six different fiery breathes, from spitting a tiny spark to light a cigarette or candle, to a fiery lash that snaps around like a five-meter-long whip, to a burning line or massive cone of fire. Whether it is necessary or not, she seems to feel the need to swear each time she 'spits fire.'

And I got nothing for this generation's 'Iron Fist,' other than they'd wear the Iron Fist suit with gold trim and a white background, so that each Dragon Soldier would have their own twist.

And the reason Shou-Lao has broken his centuries of obfuscating the truth of the 'Iron Fist' and revealing his Dragon Soldiers and their connection to him? Someone or something has been killing the great dragons!. He has gathered his Dragon Soldiers and revealed the truth of their gifts so that they can go into the world and find and stop whatever this is, and possibly save his race from extinction!

Wow, that's actually quite interesting and creative. I like it.

Angela (Aldrif Odinsdottir) - Instead shes Aldrif Culsdottir the daughter of Odin's brother Cul (God of Fear) and one of the Angels (maybe the Angel Queen) thus giving her the nickname Angel of Fear.

I'd revamp Thor into being a superbly capable warrior, confident in their abilities and position as a god, and maybe kit them out with a nice magic weapon which is wielded only by those who can match the highest of standards of heroic endeavour set by thor himself

    Or something like that

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one thinking of a way to change Angela's Marvel origin.

Not so much a revamp but just an added layer to the characters....Thunderstrike is a descendant of Thor. Several thousand years ago during one of his adventures on Earth Thor impregnated a viking woman whose descendants became the Masterson family.

That would be an interesting twist. Hell, if Loki turned out to have mortal descendants in that one arc of JMS-era Amazing Spider-Man, why not Thor himself?

It would take some commitment from a writer...Kevin starts calling Thor 'Pop-pop" Angela "Auntie" Freya "Nana Freya"...gets into it with Odin over something and yells "You're a shitty grandfather!!!"

Yeah, the "Human" Enchantress had powers similar to Loki's... could she be his descendant? Hmm.....

Returning to another idea for the return of Priscilla Lyons/Vagabond. Most of what I already said....comes back to Indianapolis and becomes a P.I. Instead of power or tech suit she is just he standard costumed athlete. She builds on her Scourge hand to hand combat training and is on par with people like Yelena Belova and Sinthea Shmidt. Black and red bird themed suit and with the name Redhawk and uses escrima sticks...yes...this is pretty much a rip off of Nightwing.
