It seemed extremely slow every time I visited there. Really not that much traffic here either, honestly. (Please don't close this forum, lol)

Sad to see it go. It was dead there for awhile now but it was a fun, close knit community for a long time. I had over 10,000 posts there.

No please don't. I do thtink a lot of it has to do with the fact you have DC and Marvel fans on here. I wonder is there a way to replace it? Maybe facebook?

It was a bad idea to close the forums. With the Orwellian censorship that goes on with Facebook and Twitter many have left those sites.

A fair amount of the people that were posting on the Robert Kirkman section of the Image boards are posting on the Invincifans (Invincible fan page) page on Facebook.

Capuga, did they give you any heads up that it would be shutdown? I always would get on there after a new issue of Savage Dragon to see what\if Erik posted about it and yesterday I was greeted with the giant "closed" sign =(. I wish they could've at least locked it down and saved it so we could read the content instead of it being lost.

Nope. I was always logged in and had the site in the background on my computer even though I didn't post much any more. It was active earlier in the day. I refreshed in the afternoon to see if anyone was around and posting and got the closed message. I hadn't heard anything about it.

Agh, that sucks. Hadnt posted in a while myself (part of the problem, i guess.) but it was a close knit community. Shame.

What in the world?! I didn't know these things happened. I only made one thread here and it was well received but then died out...

I dont know much about Facebook, but everytime i use that damn site i feel lost somehow. Its not the same like posting on a message board like this. I dont mind when it the pace here is slower, the world is too fast anyway.

But i can understand that the Forum is closed, i had several post at the end of the thread. No one answered anymore, so whats the point of keeping it alive?

Imdb also closed their forum, that was really sad. It was one of the reasons why i visited that site.

CBR is a different site now that it changed hands, or re-branded, or whatever happened. Probably lost many of the old visitors.

    IMDB closed because of trolls.

Especially they targeted POC & LGBT movies, actors and actresses.

A Fantastic Four movie forum should not be 4 threads about the movie and 500 attacking/issuing death threats to Michael B Jordan and his family.

Nor a Star war TFA with threads encouraging gun violence over Finn.

If it had POC or LGBT or in some cases women-it was trolled badly. So why would you keep it open? Sooner or alter the folks who want to talk about a project will go elsewhere. Folks want to have conversations without it being a flame war. Lead by folks who NEVER bother to read the projects beyond previews.
