    Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane #1 "Lois Lane, Super Chef". Superman eats a salt shaker with his fingerprints on it. He's afraid Lois will compare the prints with Clark Kent's. Ah, the Silver Age...

    So eating it was more convenient than wiping off the prints? Heh.

    Generally dislike gloves for his main costume. Gloves for alt costumes are okay. It would be funny if in movies and TV he conscientiously wiped his fingerprints off objects. Maybe it could be a part of demonstrating how hard he has to work to keep the charade going.
