Major win for the Raiders if they can hang on since they have underachieved and need to win most all games also get help.

    NFL Marks :

    - 2 Arizona Cardinals itched closer to big marks that will see them in the Hall of Fame soon. Larry Fitzgerald gained 70 yards on 5 receptions. His career totals in receiving yards seen him pass Tim Brown for 6th in career receiving yards. In fact Fitzgerald is 47 yards away from 15,000 career receiving yards ! Fitzgerald also now has 1,175 career receptions !

    - Adrian Peterson passed 2 Hall of Fame RB's in Franco Harris and Thurman Thomas as well today. Peterson has 12,142 yards on the ground and is now gunning to pass another Hall of Famer in Marcus Allen soon. He's currently 14th all-time.

    - In Indy ; in what could be his final season Frank Gore continues to churn yards slowly. Gore isn't the RB he once was but he's gained over 450+ yards thus far this season and now has 13,520 career rushing yards. Gore is on pace to pass 2 Hall of Fame RB's in Jerome Bettis and LaDanian Tomilson then season and be 5th in career rushing. All together Gore has 17,000+ yards on his body. (rushing/receiving)

    - Cam Newton maybe struggling passing wise (this happens when you trade away and let WR's go folks) but Newton ran for 89 yards and TD today. The SUPERMAN of the Panthers is 93 yards away from 4,000 career rushing yards as a QB. The only scrambling running QB's ahead of Newton right now is Frank Tarkenton , Steve Young and Michael Vick. If Newton keeps his pace up on the ground he could pass Young and Tarkenton this season.

    - Jared Goff & Carson Wentz are having spectacular 2nd years as QB's. Both men have had young career games. Today Goff threw 4 TD's and dismantled the Giants in a Joe Montana type performance (Goff idolizes Montana and wears 16 as his homage to him). His numbers thus far 147/244 2,030 yards 13 TD's 4 Int's. 97.9 QB Rating. Carson Wentz meanwhile has done even better 176/291 2,262 yards 23 TD's 5 Int's and 104.1 QB Rating ! So both young QB's seem destined to meet in the playoffs.

Something has occurred to me... Larry Fitzgerald always has wanted to play with AP. He's gotten his wish in what many people thought was his last year, and Carson Palmer's last year.

There has been talk out of the Cardinals' locker room that because this "last hurrah" for Fitz, Palmer, and Bruce Arians got spoiled by injury, the window might shut, and all three might retire.

But then word has hit Carson Palmer "doesn't want his career to end like this" with a broken arm in a game in London, and he wants to play next year.
Fitzgerald is grinning in games like a Cheshire cat while he's playing with AP, who would also be under contract with Arizona, along with David Johnson for 2018.
Arians has said he isn't sure about retirement, but wants to work with a high-draft pick rookie QB with Palmer to make the next heir apparent. Palmer was amicable to this, but all the QBs Arizona could have wanted were gone by the time they picked in the 2017 draft.

I don't know what to expect anymore. They might only lose Fitz. They might not lose any of them.

As an Eagles fan, even I'm shocked at how much Wentz evolved in just his second season. It's been absolutely amazing. As for Goff, to think all it took for him to blossom was to jettison Jeff Fisher in favor of a head coach who knows offense. Meanwhile, we won't have to wait for Wentz and Goff to face each other in the playoffs, they'll meet in L.A. on December 10th.

Ryan Clark predicted the Steelers Eagles Super Bowl yesterday.

That is a longshot because The Eagles won't be a 15-1 team no damn way they defeat a great Saints team in the Superdome they would be steamrolled and most likely still lose at Philly because Brees with more experience would lead Saints to a win in a shootout, the Rams would possibly win in Philly or at Los Angeles, etc.
So yes a longshot the Eagles make the Super Bowl.

The Steelers still would most likely lose to the Pats in the Playoffs, possibly the Chiefs, etc. They could more likely make the Super bowl because of experience.

I'm not Fisher was another Mike Singletary that coached the 49ers. When Harbaughwas the new Head coach the 49ers in 1 season a great team, also Alex Smith was prospering and became a great qb.

The Rams were the Same embarrassment terrible team the 49ers were with Singletary. Or Cowboys when Wade Phillips was the head coach.

A NFL qb is most likely to be a decent or great qb that prospers if they have a decent or great head coach.

A change of head coach and the Rams are a great team with a great high scoring offense, and Goff this season is a great QB because Mcvay is a a great Head Coach.
Fisher had no desire to use Goff, and had no idea how to use Goff so he would prosper.
For some damn reason he wastes time with proven ineffective qbs including Kenum a bust.

Also more irrefutable evidence that Fisher is a awful head coach for the Rams and Mcvay is a Great Head coach for the Rams is the Rams have easily exceeded their amount of points scored in 8 games than all points they scored all of last season.

    Yes he was.
The Rams were repeatedly a mediocre team or a losing team and look at how many points the Rams have scored in 8 games this season compared to their points scored for the 2016 NFL Season.
It's a astounding embarrassment and will get worse. No doubt Rams will score over 400 points in the NFL regular season.

You could say after Mcnair because Titans have had all their playoff wins with Mcnair.

AFC East- everyone is still alive, surprisingly
AFC North- Browns are done, Bengals started 0-3 so they aren't making the playoffs either. This is the Steelers division to win.
AFC South- The Colts and Texans are done. The Jags and Titans are still alive.
AFC West- The Chargers started 0-4 and won't make the playoffs. The Broncos look terrible. Only the Raiders can catch the Chiefs.
AFC East- The Eagles are great! The Giants are dead and gone. The Cowboys and Redskins are hanging in there.
NFC North- The Packers are done without Aaron Rodgers. The Bears and Lions are just hanging on. The Vikings are likely winners of the division.
NFC South- The Bucs are done. The other three teams are contenders.
NFC West- the 49ers are done. The Cards are barely hanging in there. The Seahawks and Rams are championship contenders.

Who will win the 49ers-Giants matchup this week? If the Giants let the 49ers win, then the Giants get their draft position.

After watching that play where the Giants let the Rams score a TD on THIRD AND THIRTY-THREE, I can see the Niners breaking through for their first win of 2017.

Fisher even then didn't have a hand in McNair's success. In fact it was Jerry Rhome who helped make McNair the QB we saw. Rhome was brought in and really worked wonders not only with McNair , he took Chris Chandler over and remade him into a QB who'd take the Falcons to a Super Bowl one season ! Fisher was given Vince Young and others and screwed them.

I'm having a hard time not seeing the Pats in another Super Bowl this year.

I'm getting flashbacks to the 2004 season when everyone in Pittsbugh wouldn't shut up about a possible keystone state superbowl.

Sadly, I agree. When push turns to shove, Darth Hoodie and Tom Terrific always find a way to reach the BIG GAME™.
