According to the Dark Horse March 2003 book 'the Art of Hellboy' it's art done for the Capital City Distribution calendar (possibly '94 or '95 as the art is dated '94), a Madison Wisconsin-based company bought up by Diamond Distribution in 1996.

Y'know, in addition to the "Winter Specials", it might be interesting if there were Hellboy/Mignolaverse-related Halloween Specials.
Have there been any since the Hellboy Junior Halloween Special from twenty years ago?
