Great theme for the contest! But it's hard - and new - to search and post from a phone.. I'll go the easy way and just pay my tribute to Gotlib who left us not so long ago...
(and congrats to The Celtic Batman - and Mothra... - for his victory! What a great poster! A fan of Mothra and of Twin Peaks... I can't imagine a better taste! )
Holy macaroni! Just looking back at the entries so far I think the Smithsonian should employ someone just to track down the original art & put on a special exhibition! (Too much...?)

The Darknight Detective, 'cause that's the cover I would have posted had I not been beaten to it.
Great entries & a tough choice, too many 'honourables' to mention!
I kept coming back to Guicho's wonderful Golden Age Dynamic Duo, so that cover gets my vote.
Wonderful design, & a nice touch that the inkpen Robin is holding is drawn diagonally across the dagger of the badguy in the comic panel.... The pen is mightier than the sword!

My vote goes to The Darknight Detective as Jim Aparo is one of my all-time favorite artists.
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
I vote Chicken Pocket.
Gimme Ravin' Ray this week.

Old School Ollie 1962 because I can't help falling in love with the women Nick Cardy drew.
