Yeah, Batwoman has long hair but her civilian alter ego Kate Kane currently sports a crewcut, and is sometimes shown with a bob. It's a sensible idea. If a superhero's haircut changes when their civilian identity's does, isn't that a dead giveaway? Wearing a wig is a great way to hide your identity, I reckon.

Well, she calls herself Trish instead of Patsy (that's why I referred to her as Ms Walker instead of using her first name in my previous post) and she hasn't suited up as Hellcat yet. But they did keep the whole "mom published comic books about me" thing - which means her backstory is intact. If Jessica Jones/Defenders runs long enough, she'll probably suit up eventually, and then she'll feel more like the gal we know from the funny pages. They didn't want to take the focus away from Jess, which is understandable.

Trish's role on The Defenders was so disappointing. They didn't even bother to give her ONE action scene, even though the character is supposed to know how to fight. I kept waiting for a setup for Hellcat, kind of like Misty losing her arm to make her resemble her comic book counterpart. I mean, it was only fair, as Patsy was pretty much the only character in that show that was actually a full-fledged classic Defenders member in the comics. But no... nothing. I'm seriously hoping season 2 of JJ won't disappoint. It's a crime to have Patsy freaking Walker in the MCU and treat her like nothing but the civilian best friend. Come on, Netflix!

you are god damn right! while i was watching the defenders, everytime trish appeared i wanted to see her fighting and never! i was really hoping for at least 1 scene but nothing, but jessica jones s2 totally will have trish fithing
