Like any wedding, sometimes it's awkward when someone's ex shows up... (I swear, Seth and Halston were superimposed together in some shots)

This was a great episode. If they ended it here I wouldn't complain.

Who am I kidding I would complain, but not about this episode.

Loved this season but a major complaint I had was the lack of self awareness the Union had regarding the Kaylon prior to the peace treaty. Those in the Union that hated the Kaylon and Isaac didn't seem to see the irony of how that applies to the Krill. Until temporary peace the Krill killed many people from the Union and were in turn killed but that was never really addressed. Where were the Charly's that had loved ones killed by the krill when they were watching a play with the admirals? Charly even mentions how stupid the Krill were to throw away a necessary alliance against the Kaylon with the Union in the coup episode. But she herself mentioned to Ed in the first episode that the union might be better off destroyed if they had to rely on Isaac to save it. The fanatic krill see nonkrill the same way many in the Union saw the Kaylon, soulless beings unworthy of saving. If they had a kill-all bomb for the krill or the moclans would it even be a debate not to ever use it? Ed himself even admitted he didn't know if he did the right thing reactivating Isaac, which was meant as a humanizing moment for Ed. But it would of been more humanizing if Ed remembered this was exactly the kind of situation Teleya was in when he killed her crew except for her and the children. He let them go hoping they could put the hate behind them. But was unable to see the parallel with Charly and Isaac. Teleya was basically a Charly that doubled and tripled down on her hatred. Which was never addressed despite the parallels.

Two very welcome and very awesome returns...Alara and Gordon's sandwich!

I guess it's nice for Bortus that he and Klyden are back together...but I still don't like Klyden. I liked the debate on the whole prime directive thing and what replicators would do to a society, but I feel like it's too soon to give us a replacement for Charly, which the girl from the Punisher is obviously meant to be.

I wasn't big on Claire and Isaac at first, but given Isaac's reasoning to her, is he supposed to be a metaphor for an asexual/aromantic person or something along those lines? Looking at it through that lens actually makes sense.

There's a lot more ground they can cover with Teleya in the future.

I rewatched the internet porn episode recently and it's help me be ready to eventually forgive Klyden. Not there just yet, but ready to let him repair his reputation

Yeah, he wants a good story that respects his character and does something worthwhile with Sisko, not merely a return for the shake of a return. I guess he watched Star Trek Picard or Discovery and was like "oh, hell no!".

Nah, mine needed no fixing it was already spot on. The shows I mentioned are, IMHO, trash full of nothing but gimmick writing hats on top of hats on top of hats. In the last season of Picard I thought "how many hats can this hat wear?"; time travel, Q, the Borg, Guinan, a terrible secret from the past, a universe-ending threat, alternate timelines, the Watchers, etc, but I digress this is not the thread for such.

Tell me about its like when you suddenly see an article on a older actor for one second you think "Oh, God No".

    But that's great news.

Great. I wonder what ST:TNG storylines they'll cover next.
