It's a tough market for solo books these days (unless you're an A-lister, but even then).

Not surprised at which Generations one-shots sold the best.

Hope some of those are doing well in digital.

The Hellblazer book is from DC, btw.

While DC have the best opening event since the Death of Superman!!!

Marvel reap what they sow, Wolverine selling well!!! gee lets keep him dead because no one remembers the xmen.

And no, moon girl doesn't sell great in trades thats a myth. it's dead. bury it.

Infamous sells ~25k copies with NO advertisement, yet Bendis' Daughterfu comic that gets shilled to death manages only to sell ~28k. BRAVO BENDIS! BRAVO MARLEL!

I'm going to miss Iceman, it's the best solo X-book currently.

For an event book, Secret Empire is selling horribly. None of the three issues was over 100,000, and the event was beaten out by regular issues of Batman.

I'm disappointed that Uncanny Avengers #26 dropped. I thought it would draw new readers in.

Only one X-Men book was over 50,000 copies. Not good. Avengers is only at 31,000! Terrible!

Thanos beat Black Panther, Daredevil, Totally Awesome Hulk, Uncanny Avengers, Infamous Iron Man, Champion, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cable, Jessica Jones, and Punisher. He almost doubled on Silver Surfer's sales. And this title is really good.

Ultimates2 #100 got above 20,000. Too bad the series has ended. It was one of Marvel's best.

Squirrel Girl has been beaten. Wasp must stop. Captain Marvel is no longer mighty.

I'm wondering how much the Legacy numbering might bump up each book.

Those books are already confirmed cancelled.

You also missed a Marvel book, which is also already cancelled:

    138 Rocket 4 $3.99 Marvel 15,156

I've no doubt that the lenticular legacy variants will bump up Marvel's sales, as retailers have been set minimum orders that they need to comply with in order to qualify.

I've seen reports of shops boycotting that.

A-Force was higher than that when it got axed. Never went below 20k at all in fact. Being above 20k is no guarantee of safety.

And Wasp DID stop, that was the last issue.

Guardians was selling well with Bendis before the movie, but now? Fatigue and double shipping with no price drop.

But the rest? It sounds like you already staked your claim in who should be going.

Shame to see Iron Fist and Luke Cage selling 17k and 12k respectively. Been an incredible read.

What's the deal with Marvel's better quality books not selling well? And more importantly, how does Marvel fix this?
Currently Reading: DC: Shazam /// MARVEL: Daredevil, Invaders, Winter Soldier /// IMAGE: Seven to Eternity /// TITAN: Bloodborne

    Upcoming Reading:

Trade Waiting: IMAGE: East of West, Black Road, The Black Monday Murders /// DARK HORSE: Hellboy, Witcher

I could add adult Cyclops and Jean Grey and Xavier.
