Uh okay (I guess they want to jump on the "Old Man" bandwagon before OML retires)...but does this really need 12-issues ?

Is the old man Logan univers marvel's version of the watchmen now ? I got sick of OML apearing in every comic months ago. Milking the OML univses insted of creating new or imoroving on existing charaters is just sad and shows marvel is relying to heavily on nostalgia.

Also in two years old man doom, old lady frost, and old man red skull.

I LOVE it. Checchetto alone will make me pick this up.

I like Marco Checchetto, but two things:
    1. Who the heck is Ethan Sacks?
    2. Why 12 issues?
    3. Didn't the character die in Old Man Logan, so why?

Edit, looked up Ethan Sacks and apparently he's the former entertainment editor/film editor for the New York Daily News. ...Why? Why this guy? I can't even find anything about him writing fiction before!

    1) Don't know.
    2) Why not?
    3) This is a prequel series to the original Old Man Logan story.

Honestly, I really don't feel like in the mood for Old-Man-anything at this point. I guess we can blame the overuse of OML for that. But this has a lot of potential, and Checchetto's gorgeous art is really tempting. I might or might not check it out.

Figured out he's the former entertainment editor/film editor for the New York Daily News. So you know, perfect person to write this.
    2. Because it is going to boom so hard.
    3. Okay, but so? Why do we need a prequel that's longer than the original comic? What is there to learn that requires 12 issues?

Yawn. If we’re giving out titles to more AU characters I can think of a lot more interesting characters. An older Clint Barton is an uninspired choice and I can’t see the series being anything groundbreaking. Next.

How is this considered a mini-series compared to all the other Marvel series that get canceled in 12 issues or less?

I just don't get this. Wouldn't a mini-series focusing on the fall of the heroes and those that did survive (but are in hiding) that we don't know about be more interesting?
