If either Hal Jordan, John Stewart, or Simon Baz need to be off-world with the Green Lantern Corps on assignment, then one of the other two members would need to assume the duties as the Green Lantern representative for the Justice League.

My dream JLUnited:



I think the team should really embrace its cosmic side. This team's purpose would be to protect Earth from outer threats, be they alien in nature or from other dimensions.
I'd add Big Barda and Mr. Miracle and remove GA, Animal Man and maybe Equinox.
I'd add Big Barda because I wanted a kick-ass female character that's a little more experienced than her teenaged teamates and also someone who could convingly stand up to someone like Hawkman, not only in terms of attitude but also powerwise.
Mr. Miracle would fill Animal Man's role as the team's "everyman". Animal Man would move to Justice League Dark.
Martian Manhunter would be team leader. I'd also explore his connections to Stormwatch, I think they would be interesting recurring guest stars/antagonists.

Hard to argue with Morrison's Big 7 lineup. Heck, I didn't even mind when Superman Blue was in there. Plus, I love hook hand Aquaman.

If I was going to tweak it, I might add Firestorm, Red Tornado, and/or Cyborg. Maybe take out Green Lantern & Flash to make room.

I really like this idea, except I think Guy Gardner needs to be there. The thought of having Vixen on a JLI team is perfect, it's just too bad Jurgens did nothing with her.
