Already loving it. Jon Malin's work is already great but with those colors, it really gives it an atmosphere. And Brisson's really nailing down the comedy and characterization, hope it continues that way for the whole arc.

I don't agree with the statement, "Candra was powerful, but not half what Selene is." As far as mutant powers go, Candra is actually more powerful than Selene, but if you add in Selene's magic, it give her an edge in a fight against Candra since Candra has no sorcery.

A Candra vs. Selene fight should be close as it could go either way. Both characters have the ability to feed off the life force of other people, so they should cancel out in this regard.

Candra had so much potential. She was a great Storm and Gambit villain with the potential to wield possibly unlimited power. Unless Candra is brought back, this will prove to be a total waste of a great villain and the X-world can't afford to lose anymore uber-powerful villains. There is a huge shortage of powerful bad guys in the X-Men's rogues gallery right now.

That said, though I don't care for Cable and I don't read his book, I'm gonna be picking up this story arc because I like both Selene and Candra.
