Obviously I'm wrong the Stanley Cup finals ended in 5 ganes not 7.

The Caps still won a Stanley Cup for the 1st time which is terrific because no more having to wait next season, also Ovechkin is removed from being A Dan Marino and other great athletes in team sports that never won a Championship.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone as excited to win the cup as Ovie. Cheers to the Knights on an awesome year as well.

It's pretty clear that he actually cared about winning the Cup. The emotions were all over his face. This is a very different Ovechkin from his first couple of years in the League. This will cement him as one of the top 10 players in NHL history.

It does bring a smile to my face when I think Ovi finally got a Cup.
