Games you changed your mind about?

Easy question. Has there ever been a game that you tried and didn't like at all, but latter on tried it again and liked it way more? I was curious because it happened to me with Fallout 3. The first time I played it I made it an hour or so into the game and hated it. Recently I saw the Game of The Year Edition for like 10 bucks and figured what the hell and gave it another try and this time I loved it. I don't know if it is because between that first time and now I have played more open world games like Oblivion, Red Dead Redemption, and Skyrim or if I just was not in the right kind of mindset of it the first time.

I would have to say FF 13. At first I hated the characters and te fighting system seemed wierd. I wouoldn't say I loved the second attempt, but I liked it enough to push through the game.
