This is very exciting. Like others I think this may lead Jean to the Avengers. That would be really cool though I love her in the X-men. I wonder how this story will play out. I wonder if it will be like Endsong and there will be a conflict at first that keeps Jean away from the X-men. There is a hint the X-men have to fight for her. I hope we do not see Dark Phoenix as I feel this is tired with Jean. I want to see Jean tame and control the Phoenix. I want to see Jean as a hero and not someone who is inches away from losing control. But either way I am just excited for the character to be back. I am glad that this book has a good writer. I haven't read any of the writer's work but I've read really good things about him. I also like that he is a fan of the X-men and of Jean Grey.

Yeah, that bothers me too. Especially because where do the teeth fit in or lay in a beak, which is designed to not house them.

I deliriously happy Jean's coming back but I'm afraid of how her return will be warped to fit into DisMarvel's current Avengers focus.
Jean with the Phoenix is just too inviting for some writers who'll want to do their own Dark Phoenix Saga with her. Jean's much more than just the Phoenix.
