Cable and Rogue being involved have me more excited about this than anything honestly. Even more than real Jean coming back.

I'm actually not much of a Jean fan (her being in Red is a non-factor in me wanting to read it), so if all the Resurection mini does is explain "this's how Jean came back" and then Red starts as, Jean's alive again and this's what she's going to do no, I'd rather skip the mini and just accept that Jean's back from one of her dead phases again and go from there. If the Resurrection mini set up the main problem/antagonists/whatever that Jean's leading the fight or something, then I'd want to read it.

I don’t think anyone outside of Marvel itself is 100% sure exactly what Resurrection is going to do beyond Jean’s return, but evidence suggests that there will be fallout for characters other than her as well. Personally I’d say it’s worth getting.

I would not be surprised that Rogue is there not only as an X-man but an observer for the Avengers. Even Cable was affiliated with the UnCanny Avengers during Duggan's run.

I presume this is the issue that she'll disappear/go-missing in since the solicits say that teammates go missing. She's got the Phoenix bloody nose again so don't expect her to show up again until towards the end of the event.
