I really like the idea of jean being the overall visionary with storm being the field leader.
My only concern is that jean being dead for a while, she may not bee as connected to people as one who hope out of a leader. This is something that can be fixed with good writing of course... it’s just a potential pitfall I see.

Its working out well for her over in Red so far. She surprisingly seems more connected to all the members of her large team than alot of X-leaders in recent history

It's interesting to re-read the post I made a year ago with the context of what has happened since.
A year ago, I was cool with Polaris as a member of a team led by Jean as all she would be doing. After Lorna's treatment on Blue, my attitude's changed to that she needs to either have a solo or lead her own team. That would mean not having her as a member of a Jean-led team like I suggested last year, cause I'm not a fan of "have one character take up permanent spots on multiple books simultaneously" when there are so many characters that deserve use too.I can also be reached on BlueSky and Tumblr. I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.

I loved the Claremont Revolution Uncanny squad with Jean, Storm, Beast, Cable and Gambit. Wouldn’t mind seeing that one again, with a couple of additions.

As long as it's a good cast with a good writer I'm all for Jean being the leader, just no more of this one character overshadowing the rest of the cast nonsense.
The idea of Jean being headmistress with Storm being field leader does sound cool.
