I liked the first issue. Seemed like a mix between Book of Eli and Lord of the Rings.

I thought it was decent. I like Hauns art.
Story-wise it was well scripted but seems to be a bit of a hodge-podge of various other stories without having much of its own unique voice.
I'll be back for issue 2, though.
I thought there'd be more discussion surrounding this book. I loved it. Maybe it was more of "a hodge-podge of various other stories," but I get the feeling it's riding the current wave of '80s nostalgia on purpose, and I see a heavy stream of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons underlying the first issue. Maybe even Dark Realms? I'm really excited to see where it goes. I find it more palatable than when I read the first issue of Seven to Eternity. The tidbit regarding Rook was enough of a tease to carry the whole first arc--just to find out more about the character.
I personally didn't care for it....The writing was good, but didn't care for the genre of story once I got into it.
#2 was good as well. Added to pull list for now.
