What I've read of Waid in the past few years has been hit-or-miss, but the Black Widow run he did with Samnee was good. And we've got back a more classic Captain America now, so I'm hoping that will be worth it.

You know, I actually would not mind if its like Spencers run. I very much doubt they would try something akin to that again any time soon, but I enjoyed it. Perhaps more like the SamCap run, where Steve's greatest foe is the public and their opinion of him...

I do too. Better to acknowledge it and try and have Steve grow from it, then just ignore what happened.
