eek .. i think the reference works, especially considering the tone of lost in space
The FF purist in me is screaming that Don and Judy were used as models for this admittedly wonderful drawing and not John and Maureen.
Aww, is Reed coming back so he can continue to make the lives of his friends and loved ones a living Hell?
Wait, what if that new FF series, Marvel Two-In One, isn't called that because it's about a team of two, but it's actually two stories every issue: One with Thing and Human Torch, and the other with Mr Fantastic and Invisible Woman?
Cyclops was right.... oops I mean reed was right everything lives..... on Twitter.
evocative of the carefree golden age of non-representation
You think so? I know Alex Ross has done a few 'alternate future' books with wild designs... but his prefrences have always been to draw the heroes in as iconic costume as possible
Agreed... well, actually I prefer the classic blue with the white gloves/collar... but I'm quite content with the black too.
This was posted in the FF appreciation thread, someone colored it to how they think it would look:

I want them back already!
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!
if the art is relevant to an upcoming project i'm surprised the great and terrible Marvel Overlords haven't asked CBR to close this thread and delete posts.
