Poll: What decade did you start reading the X-Men?

After being around her for a while my assumptions about the community are changing. I expected a lot of the folks here to have started reading x-men in the 80's (like myself) or the 90's. I'm sensing that many of you started much more recently than I would have thought. Just out of curiousity please endulge me by letting me know what decade you started reading.

1993. So long ago.

Mid-eighties. Uncanny X-Men #192. I was out of school with a stomach bug. My dad was going to the grocery store to get something and asked if I wanted anything. A friend had said I should check out the X-Men so I said "An issue of X-Men?".

Born in 90... was introduced to the X-Men a few years later and got issues here and there. Didn't start buying on my own until the 00's though. Did a lot of catching up.

Late 00s, I was 11-12, the school Library had early Claremont issues, giant size X-men, Phoenix and dark Phoenix saga, Nightcrawler inferno etc

"Peak" of all things X I suppose, with the Pizza Hut promotions, the 2nd comic came out, the cartoon started, the arcade game (which of course used more 80s characters like Dazzler)

I was one of those kids who swooned over what a badass that Wolverine was

WHen it was revealed he always had bone claws I almost had a heart attack from plot overload

i started reading comics during Bendis' run of X-Men during my sophomore year of high school

I started reading in 1994 with Uncanny X-Men 276. But in Brazil there was a delay in Marvel's publications for about three years.
