Felicia was a new character created for Spider-Man, a villain and an affair from the 80's mostly contained in the satellite title. MJ is only a superhero in an alternate universe B title - a great title, but still a B title.

This is a first for Amazing Spider-Man and I think their dynamic has been one of the best parts of volume 4.

I think every story counts regardless of where it's set (especially if it has the classic continuity as a backstory like RYV does, proven by Issue Ten)

RYV is an Amazing Spider-Man title btw. There are actually THREE titles that bear the name Amazing Spider-Man (the mainstream one, Renew Your Vows, and the newspaper strip)

So no, it's not a first for an ASM title.

It's not fresh either. As Frontier says, Felicia was often a crime fighting ally of Peters during their relationship and beyond. Satellite titles are part of the main canon and still count.

They're dating at the moment. "Fall of Parker" will deal with their relationship, though we don't know if it'll last past that story.
