    PG: Chris Paul
    SG: Klay Thompson
    SF: LeBron James
    PF: Karl Anthony Towns
    C: Marc Gasol

I think I have the advantage because they aren't old.

    Kinda depends:

    Which NBA era rules are we using? Today's, 2000s, 1990s, 1980s, 1970s, 1960s, etc?

    Well, here is my

    Team A:

    POINT: Magic Johnson (1987)
    WING1: Michael Jordan (1992)
    WING2: LeBron James (2016)
    POST1: Bill Russell (1963)
    POST2: Hakeem Olajuwon (1994)

    Team B:

    POINT: Larry Bird (1986)
    WING1: Kobe Bryant (2009)
    WING2: Julius Erving (1981)
    POST1: Tim Duncan (2003)
    POST2: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1980)

    Magic
    Michael
    LeBron
    Bird
    Kareem

If I went by the traditional five distinct positions, I'd put Duncan as my PF and LeBron as SF. But Bird was so great I can't deny him, and LBJ is certainly powerful.

So many top players - if you picked Wilt, Russ, Dream, Shaq or Moses at center, you'd still be fine. You could pick Mailman, Duncan, Barkley, Baylor at the forwards.

For me, though, Magic and Michael - with all due respect to Oscar - are heads and shoulders above every other guard.

I do think the game today is the best it has been since the fabled 80s.
