I'm not upset over her taking Jan's place as naming the team if this is all apart of the story. I would only be upset if this is a Sentry situation and this is the new canon.

I don't doubt that it is a plot point, there's just a little part at the back of mind in case this is Sentry all over again.

Also, I'm most likely looking too hard at things. But in some of those flashback panels in the preview she looks like a mix of all Marvels first female superheroes: Sue, Jan, and Jean.

The way they are acting all hokey and "Gee whiz!" about her is a pretty big tell that this character who came from nowhere, with zero build up, at a time of weird happenings and crisis, is probably not on the up and up.

I do notice not one original member is there to call this out. Even Jarvis is out the frame right now.
