What comes do i need to read to understand all of Metal?

Really want to start this crossover as the concept starts cool but straight away their were call backs to stuff that happened in previous comics and my OCD just killed it for me. I can't continue on until i understand every call back and reference. OCD won't allow it.

For you guys who are very familiar with Snyder etc, exactly what issues/arcs/mini's do i have to read? And regarding spoilers, go ahead and spoil me, what have been the call backs to previous events/issues so far in Metal?
