Who Would Be On Your DEFINITIVE X-Team?

In your opinion, who's on your definitive X-Men team?
This isn't a thread asking you about what X-Men you'd like on a team. It's asking you who you think the main X-Men are.

In my opinion, it's Cyclops, Wolverine, Iceman, Beast, Storm, Jean, Rogue, and Kitty.
Each of these characters have had solos, (to varying degrees of success) have appeared in movies or cartoons, and are some of their most iconic characters.

Therefore the definitive X-Men would be to me:

Wolverine
Nightcrawler

Shadowcat
Gambit
Professor X
Magneto

To me at least characters represent individual aspects of what makes a X-Man a X-Man.

This is pretty close. Especially that top line. 3 of my favorite X-Men. I would probably add Nightcrawler, Psylocke, Gambit, and Colossus.

So really for me, the definitive X-Men are the O5 + ANAD + Gambit and Psylocke.

I feel like blindfold should be mentioned hear also hindsite (they guy who could see the past by touching things from genrration X) they seem like they'd be very helpful

Ill make my list later but definitely, no Beast.

Cyclops, Phoenix, Rogue, Wolverine, Storm, Psylocke, Colossus, Emma Frost, Kitty and Psylocke are the only ones I feel like need to be around in some capacity to make it a real X-Team. If there was a "Tier 2" I'd add Iceman, Beast, Angel, Jubilee, and Gambit. In recent years Magik has also cemented her status as a main member too.

Basically your list. Or another option would be Morrison's team without Xorn.
