It has comics so i'll count it.

I think the title should have been, "When Marvel Actually Bothered to Promote Comics."
Not really comic-related, but this one was always amusing to me; "affordable price of $39.99"
For a hour and a half cartoon yes that was cheap. Early 80s vhs tapes from 1979-1982 were $70 to $80 back then and vhs (vcr) or beta players were $800! (they later dropped to $400) We had to rent to own our first vhs player and it was a heavy metel one with a top that pops up and you put the tape in then push it down! Not really comic-related, but this one was always amusing to me; "affordable price of $39.99"
22 min cartoons cost $10 to $30 by the way. Most were $30 but fhe transformers and gjoe were priced down to $15.
Later they went down to $30 like the rerelease of tron.

Hey only $30 for two episodes of gobots! I think he-man tapes were this price also.

This video talks about the transformers fhe prices.
