Unlike Paleo and Neo Conservatives (who are both in favor or a weaker central state, while disagreeing on other issues), the Alt Right will embrace left-style attitudes about state power. If nothing else, creating an ethno-state (the specific term used by Richard Spencer) would require significant regulatory and executive power.

The Alt Right will also embrace certain left-leaning attitudes on issues like universal healthcare (for residents of the ethno-state), which would require higher taxes.

I haven't looked at this comic, but I did see Amazon has it listed and its free with Kindle Unlimited, which I have, so I'll check it out. I probably will NOT like it based on the fact I absolutely HATE politics in comics. I read comics to escape the bullshit of the world from NPC agenda or Right Wing stupidity.
With that said, I AM fully aware its been in comics since day one and comics were made solely based on political issues of the day, BUT a lot of it in the past was subtle and left up to the reader to put two and two together.

Then there are comics that just show Superheroes going out and kicking butt and stopping villains.. ZERO agenda forced into it... If those can do it, I think the rest can..

Just look at IDW sales and the backlash for them, they can't keep their agenda out of comics and it turns folks off.

Aside from Aubrey Sitterson (who was playing at being a bomb-thrower), when did IDW get political?

Comics lend themselves to allegories about power, including political power. ("Red Son" is one of the best Superman comics, if not the best, one is going to find. It is explicitly political.) The problem is when the writers jump on a specific issue, especially when they have a partisan angle. (Nick Spencer is guilty of this on the left. Alt Hero is guilty from the fringe-right.)

I think that problem is that today people have kinda pushed Fascism and Right-Wing/Conservatives into same camp and it causes lots of confusion and problems, main one being that now lots of normal conservatives are called fascists for no good reason. Alt-Right is closer to Fascism than to Conservatism. On the other hand it exposed that lots of fascists were masquerading as "conservatives" or "classical liberals" and had problems with things like high taxes only because minorities would get some benefits from them.

As for Alt-Right being hard to define, before The Election it had lots of people with various thoughts that would often contradict each other. Only thing kinda holding whole "movement" together was mutual dislike for Hillary and mainstream Left. Once Trump won whole thing kinda collapsed and now only white nationalists are still really using that label.

The irony is that the confusion about defining the Alt-Right largely comes from the left (fringe and main-line).

The Alt-Right is nothing if not honest about what it is. Richard Spencer is a racist, and openly identifies as one. He is clear about his ideology and his goals. Steve Bannon described Breitbart as a "platform for the Alt-Right". He said that without embarrassment.

The confusion arises when people who are not sufficiently left-leaning are denounced as members of the Alt-Right or as bigots. (I am center left, and have been called everything from elitist to fascist. This is despite my working with and for candidates from across the political spectrum. The fact that I have worked for women and ethnically diverse candidates usually protects me from charges of misogyny and racism, but only barely.)

Bannon, Spencer and others are specific in what they want, and largely consistent. (The differences tend to be more about short-term methods, rather than goals and ideology.) Even the confusion before Trump's election largely stemmed from partisan attempts at contaminating all conservatives as Alt-Right.

Vox Day's views are even stranger when you consider that he said that "Alt-Right Nazis are Retards and Anti-White": https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5pBD9JrFJ2Q

That sort of fratricidal spite is common in third parties and fringe politics (Considering the relatively small number of people involved, it is not quite all consuming, but is enough to cripple most organizations.)

The Green Party and Socialist Alternative can barely talk to each other. It is not surprising that similar dynamics apply on the right.

    Define agenda.

    when did IDW get political?
For some showing POC doing more than being background fodder is political.

A company taking DEAD properties and trying something different (MASK, ROM, Visionaries) is political.

Publishing Marvel properties and NOT showing who is by certain factions approve is political.

Publishing certain books that are not liked is political.

Merging a company's franchises is deem political.

There is no way books with the name My Little Pony, Ducktales, Mickey Mouse, Uncle Scrooge, Sonic or TMNT can be called agenda books that turn folks off.

    Easily.

All those shows are or have episodes with a femenist slant, have same sex couples in the main or eu, tackle immigration on both sides as well as being an outsider, eco stuff etc.

I've no problem with it but people do.

I have read some of his stuff and it is not really that strange if we try to understand it a bit better than "they are all Nazis":

Lots of people in Alt-Right are racists and at the same time think that Christianity is a bad thing, a form of Jewish religion. And you know, Jewish things are bad in their view by default. You can find fans of atheism, paganism and esoteric stuff in this camp.
But we all know that there are many Christians in this large group as well so how do these Christian and anti-Christian camps coexist? Simply, mutual hatred of non-white people is good enough for them.
Vox is different, in his mind you have to be white and Christian or you are part of the problem.

Another issue that I have noticed is that Alt-Right has this narrative that all white people that oppose them are brainwashed by Jews. You only need to redpill (remove brainwashing basically) them enough and you'll get 100% support for big global ethno state. Vox doesn't think like that and believes that different groups of white people won't get along at all due to various cultural differences.

So to sum it up in broad strokes: Alt-Right believes that every white man is/should be for big ethno state and religion doesn't really matter that much. Vox believes that "future" is certain groups of white people that are Christian. Alt-Right wants white Ethnostate, Vox wants white Christendom.

That is an excellent summary. (You accurately described a controversial ideology, and you did so without frothy use of exclammation points, all-caps and walls of text. If I wore a hat, I would tip it in your direction good sir.)

Lots of people in Alt-Right are racists and at the same time think that Christianity is a bad thing, a form of Jewish religion. And you know, Jewish things are bad in their view by default. You can find fans of atheism, paganism and esoteric stuff in this camp.

Precisely. (Richard Spencer is pro-abortion, as a method to prevent non-white babies from being born. Vox, on the other hand, would likely be squeamish about abortion for theological reasons.) Assuming that the Alt-Right were to take a country/region, and achieve their stated (common) goals, they would eventually fracture along the lines described above.

Though, to be fair, similar dynamics would apply to most countries and political movements (or other groups).
