How are the old Captain Marvel comics from the 70s

after the costume change the red and blue stuff was good, once he went blond cosmic awareness/Jim Starlin, it was the epitome of what was great about Marvel Cosmic all the way til the end issue #62 and Marvel Spotlight 1-4 and I think 8. It was Marvel Cosmic at it's best which included the Thanos Cosmic Cube epic. It also was around the time of the Warlock Soul Gem epic (with Thanos and Mar-vell), the Korvac Saga over in Avengers which featured Mar-vell as well. This era seemed to be the inspiration for not only the Infinity Guantlet revival of Thanos, Peter David's relaunch with his son Genis-vell but also DnA's Annihilation stuff that was the last time I was really interested in something Marvel Comics was putting out on a regular basis. Their Marvel cosmic stuff was epic. Or put it simply to me it was so good that when I hear Captain Marvel I always think of Mar-vell not Carol, Shazam, Monica or even Genis.
