I've only read Iron Fist and Spirits of Vengeance this week, but I enjoyed both. SoV in particular had a strong debut.
Currently Reading: DC: Shazam /// MARVEL: Daredevil, Invaders, Winter Soldier /// IMAGE: Seven to Eternity /// TITAN: Bloodborne

    Upcoming Reading:

Trade Waiting: IMAGE: East of West, Black Road, The Black Monday Murders /// DARK HORSE: Hellboy, Witcher

Avengers 672 - what happened in this one, again?
Iceman 6 - have they sent him to conversion therapy, yet? I know that it's coming.
    Iron Fist 73 - hasn't been readable since Brubaker-Fraction
    Jessica Jones - Jessica who?
Royals 9 - single-handedly killed marvel tv before even properly appearing
Spirits of Vengeance 1 - Ghost Rider makes a great tattoo but that about it; very niche
X-Men Gold 13 - I think I picked it up. must not have been that memorable.
Venom 155 - is it the 90s again?

    I didn't buy / read any, so I can't vote.
(I thought about trying Iron Fist, but that's about it.)

    I also didn't buy/read any, yet.
Will have to wait until the eventual digital price drops.

But Iron Fist and Jessica Jones are on my wishlist.

Have you read the current series? It's the most like the IIF run, compared to the other runs we've had.

-Pav, who found merit in all of them...
You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

i'll give it another try. the art is just a little iffy. which is weird because I've liked his work in the past. I just wasn't feeling the characters. none of them have been as interesting as Fat Cobra or Orson Randall.

Picked up Iceman, SoV and Venom. Of those, Icey was best. Would've liked Blaze to be a bit less third-wheel while everyone else got at least one little moment but the hook of the reunion being a wake for Black Widow is clever, Bobby takes some big steps in his coming-out, Hercules is delightful, the art's solid and some Sentinels show up. Plenty good in that.

Venom finally remembered about Lee, which entices me far more than the upcoming scuffle with Kraven; the book's been consistently good but it's lost some of its metaphorical bite since it swapped out the primary host.

And SoV was an...okay debut. It set up the plot with passable intrigue and established the pecking order between Blaze and Hellstrom. I would've preferred getting the whole team together by the end (it's a 5-issue mini, no sense wasting time), and Gischler provides a competent but never astounding script as per his track record, but it's good enough that I'll stay on board for the haul. Not like it's gonna break the bank.
The X-Books Board is wretched and does not deserve the Domino Appreciation Thread.

The Marvel Legacy opening week was pretty strong, in that the aim was to write really best ball park stories. To do Event book quality in the normal series book, and we got pretty good opening salvo's. I just wonder if we have to wait so long for the yellow smiley face button of the Clown to be relevant as it was by DC? No threads from the ML#1 book appeared in the books I read, Avengers, SOV, Jessica Jones, X-Men Gold, or Royals. I didn't see Robbie Reyes, or Black Widow teamed with Lockjaw. Just run of the mill plots, though good, that had nothing to do with the clues from ML#1.

    I will go with Avengers.

At the moment, the top three vote getters so far are
    1.) Spirits of Vengeance #1
    2.) Iceman #6
    3.) Avengers #672
All three of those are pretty close in the number of votes; presently the other books have half the votes of those or less.

I haven't read ALL of them but ICEMAN wins hands down for me, it has the advantage of being in a stronger place pre-LEGACY too.

    Wow, people actually like Iceman?

Anyway, I voted for Avengers 672. Having heroes working together to stop such a large natural disaster got me giddy, man. I can't wait until the next issue. Toss up between that and Venom for me.

Iron Fist was exciting too, got some nice set up. X-Men Gold was alright, I suppose.

    I guess Spider-Man doesn't count as a legacy title.

    Not at the moment.
All the books that fall under the Legacy heading usually had their issue numbers bumped up to reflect previous volumes and get super-keeno-nifty Legacy banner across the top of the cover.
