Default "Rebirth" Out, Corner Boxes In!

From December onwards, the "Rebirth" tag is being dropped by DC and corner boxes are back

"Rebirth" is ending and the universe is still in a terrible state? Not sure if I should be glad I predicted that a few months ago.

So I guess bringing back corner boxes is now in vogue .

I guess rather then Rebirth, we're going to have "DC Universe" as a tagline going forward?

Adding corner boxes is a small change, but it is one I can get behind. In my opinion, the corner boxes themselves are really aesthetically pleasing.

I have no problem with this. Gives it a nice classic look.

I like it. "New 52" "Rebirth", these big tag names got cumbersome.

Shame to lose the story titles on the cover.

And isn't that the wrong Suicide Squad logo? The New 52 one instead of the Rebirth one?

I don't really buy floppies but that does look better than the huge REBIRTH decals

Between corner boxes and legacy numbering, looks like DC and Marvel are both aiming to win back older readers with a nostalgic feel while at the same time return to traditions used during one of their most successful periods.
Now all they need to do is bring back one- and two-issue stories, strong non-'super' supporting casts and a few fun titles.
