Then they fight sentinels again
Then they fight the X-Cutioner again
Then Kitty and Colossus get back together again
Then they fight Omega Red again
Now they fight Mojo again who is regurgitating old storylines for ratings.

The execution is bad.

A brotherhood brought together by a racist old woman
Nano sentinels more like cassandra nova than Trask
Xcutioner & omega red weren't even worth it
Kitty & Colossus is so forced
Mojo....ugh it feels more like Guggenheim voicing his hate for his own job(s).

Don't forget Ardian Syaf is the one who designed the X-Men Gold costumes. Prestige's was totally new, so makes sense they'd change it now. The other five were lazy edits to old costumes. Colossus in particular was a backwards step. And Kitty should be using something more befitting her Shadowcat name (which she should be using), not bright yellow, which makes her look like a trainee, not a leader.

The GOLD annual will be about Excalibur reuniting. So Captain Brottain and Meggan join Rachel, Kitty and Kurt.

The BLUE annual will be the start of the new crossover "Poison X" in which the O5 kidnap Venom.

I liked the version of Kitty in Greg Pak's arc of Astonishing X-Men (Exalted, I think?); she dressed like an assassin and went by the code name "Shadow". I think the X-Books have some of the best women in comics, but I don't like the versions of Kitty and Jean (Jeen) we have leading the teams.

It's great to see Leah Williams get more work at marvel maybe her co writing x-men gold annual #1 with the series lead writer is a hint at her getting to write a x-men ongoing title soon? Either way it's really great to see.

I'd be psyched for the Excalibur reunion - if Guggenheim wasn't involved.
And I get that changing the writer of your flagship can't be fixed so fast, but why the heck is Kitty still wearing diapers after all this time? Just get her back to her AXM costume for heaven's sake.
