I was about to suggest this! Sat-Yr-9 appeared quite late in Kitty's life, but I think somehow she became an essential person for her, in a very very ambiguous way since it implied a close affinity, even identification by seduction, although Sat-Yr-9's ultimate objective was kind of nullify Kitty's self.

Actually, I think Shadowcat's nemesis are two: White Queen and Sat-Yr-9 consecutively. Please notice how much both lethal blonde b**ches are alike, and how both of them try to convince Kitty that they are equal to her. Is there in fact a connection between them?
