Default Rank The X-Men Books For 2017

Please rank the books you read in 2017. Here's mine:

-Astonishing X-Men (superb and easily the best)
    -Old Man Logan
    -All New Wolverine
    -Jean Grey
-X-Men Blue (okay, but not really great)
    -X-Men Gold (horrible)

I think I'm missing one, but there it is.

You're missing Cable, Iceman, and possibly Deadpool if you count that. But Marvel doesn't even know how to classify that book, so whatever.

    I'm gonna go:

    Deadpool
    All-New Wolverine
    Astonishing X-Men
    Old Man Logan
    Iceman

These have all been really good. They could really go in any order honestly.

    Cable - Did Not Read
    Jean Grey - DNR
    Gold - DNR
    Blue - DNR
    Gen X - DNR
    Weapon X - DNR

    Iceman
    All New Wolverine
    Generation X

I didn't read enough of the others to make it worth ranking them.

ETA: We also have the 2017 voting thread at the top of the forum for folks who want to get in on that.

I haven't read many of them. The one book I am following with the most interest isn't even an X-book. But far as what I did read.

Deadpool - Great series, but hit a bit of a lull this past arc for me.
Generation X -Seemed like an ok series that didn't really get the hit its stride.

X-Men Blue -I pop in on it from time to time, but seems ok at this point.

weapon x -Terrible. Finally dropped at chapter 12 when said chapter, plus Pak's recent interview showed it wasn't gonna get better.

Yeah, but I didn't read those books. I read like two issues of Cable and quickly dropped it, so I'm not even bothering to rank it.

I only read blue, jean grey and old man logan. For me the best is old man logan, then jean grey and blue is the last because it was good until it became bad soap opera, now i can barely read it.

Oh, yeah that. I was thinking I forgot a book that I actually read. But I think I got them all. Thanks

    Iceman
    Gen X
    Jean Grey
    Astonishing (adequate)
Blue (dropped at #10, not for me)
Gold (dropped at #4, not good)

I read one issue of Cable, it wasn't enough to hold my interest and Malin's art definitely didn't help.
    The rest I don't read.

The only book I'm really reading now is ANW. My Deadpool subscription at Comixology didn't transfer over to Despicable Deadpool, and I haven't gotten around to renewing.

Just want to point out you can still vote for your favourite comics (and more) of 2017.

See the Sticky thread on this board, or click the link in my signature.

It will close next week, so don't forget to voice your opinion.

Generation X was great - Christina Strain did a wonderful job writing it, but good writing needs good art to back it up and the art just wasn’t there.

ANW was, and continues to be, a really good read.

Iceman I only followed occasionally, but what I did read was good.

X-men Blue started off ok but lost its footing pretty quickly.

X-men Gold was a train wreck from the start. It needs a new writer and a revamped cast.

The results will be on that sticky thread, correct?

(As far as the OP goes, the only X-Men comic I'm reading right now is All-New Wolverine, so I can't rank it until X-Men: Red comes.)
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."
    (All-New Wolverine #4)

.... Well... After a Long Break I came back to X-Books this year:

I only read Old Man Logan, Deadpool and (Thanks to Recommendations from people here) Astonishing X-Men

    1. Deadpool
    2. Astonishing (Only because I missed Charles and its good to see him again)
    3. Old Man Logan ( God I miss Young-ish Guy Wolverine's solo.... but this'll do atm)

the only bad one is Gold imo. The rest vary from acceptable-decent to good. Duggan Deadpool is the best xbook if you consider Deadpool an X Character.
