Haven't read the comic yet, however the DVD/BluRay version of the Rebels pilot does have Vader assigning the Inquisitor to track down further Jedi survivors and new Force users (either for recruiting or execution), so it would seem that Vader was no longer taking a personal hand in the Order 66 mop-up by the time of the TV show.
(FIY, I think there's a pretty significant gap between the comic -- set just after ROTS -- and the show -- within five years of R1/ANH.)
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."
(All-New Wolverine #4)
Darth Vader's presence in Rebels seems more to give a satisfactory ending to the Ashoka story line than anything else
The last issue of DV had Vader meet the inquisitors.
