Didn't see a thread for this yet. Thoughts? Damian and Jon rocking out the 60's batman theme is the best part of it yet. Also the ending of the preview has me curious about the batman doomsday one shot.

But the Trinity and family having some fun seguing into some Barbatos horror was pretty effective.

This is all starting to look like a music video to a rock metal song.

I guess their editorial didn't want to be too involved in Metal, considering that Superman is more the Rebirth flag-bearer and that Metal isn't exactly "Rebirth Style" to me.

Metal is edited by the Super office though My guess is they have Supersons of Tommorrow coming up, had Batman and kid guest that's more than enough crossovers and tie ins

Barbatos is likely an analogue of Darkseid, or in a broader sense, the Devil from Morrison's run. As they all claimed to be Batman's metaphorical father and have an interest in evil Batmen army. It won't be strange if they have similar powers.

Barbatos doesn't seem to have the Omega Sanction, he is manipulating some kind of purple lightning. I must say I'm liking his design so far (the luminescent wings, and his truly demonic look at the end of the preview, where I find him almost void-like, a cape worn by the lightning)... Hopefully, his good impression on me will be confirmed soon.

Well, Action Comics is wrapped up in a big arc at the moment, and Superman has apparently been having some behind-the-scenes issues that probably would have made a tie-in hard to schedule ahead of time. Almost wish they had though. Probably would have been better than this last Deathstroke arc.

So we cant have hit the bottom yet.
