As far as I could tell, the shirt was just a joke meant to needle (or "troll," in this day and age) certain people with certain perceptions and ideas about how certain things worked or should work. Anybody taking it seriously got baited, big-time.

How soon do you think Peter and Bobbi break up. By issue 791? Slott did hint that Carlie Cooper may be coming back, so I figured that Peter and Bobbi will not work out.

Okay, this is speaking as someone whose only just easing their way into new comics, so this may be out of character for Bobbi, but if this is her typical treatment of Peter...well...I despise her. There's no nice way to put it. I will never be on board for Peter/Bobbi. Between her mocking him to his face and that stunt with the article, and that's only the first few pages. Even if he did royally mess up, kicking him while he's down like this isn't funny, it's disgusting.

Peter would be better off at a homeless shelter than with this shrew.
