OK I'm moving on to Aquaman. Vote for your favorite logo.
Up to now I've only used cover logos. But Aquaman existed for over 20 years before getting his own title, and I felt there should be some Golden Age representation. So I pulled from splash pages, to the best of my ability. Not completely sure of the accuracy but it gives us something to work with.

I like that a lot of these are simply reworking the font styles of previous versions in new ways. The 1962, for instance, is just arranging the 1946 in a different way. While the 1991 logo takes that idea and reworks it some more, but the serifs on the tops of the letters are a bit naff. And Q is such an odd letter in the alphabet--it's interesting to see how that's played with in different designs. I'm not too attached to any of them, but I decided to vote for 1962.
'46 & '62 are more alike than I give them credit for. There were actually 2 variations on the '46, one with shadow behind it and one without. And that one was used for the Silver Age incarnation on the cover of Showcase. I grew up with '62 and it lasted a long time so it was an easy choice. I hate the current one.
'89 and 2011 are pretty cool but definitely '62.

Love that you are doing these!! Please continue to do so! aa
This was tough, because the only ones I *don't* like are the 40's ones; the others all pretty great.
Had to go with 1994 though, because nostalgia. 1991 is a close second.
I feel like the reason that '86 has no votes so far is that most people who would have voted for it go ahead and see the '89 logo, which is the same aesthetic but better, and immediately change their minds.

I decided to revive these original polls to see if/how the results differed from the finals. I'm not sure if I should've done multiple rounds or not. Maybe some polling geeks could jump in and tell me what they think.
Same winner here, 2011. And I still hate it. Also popular are 1962 (yay!) and 1994 (meh).
