You're nominating individual members.
Each nominated member will be weighed individually with total votes.

The criteria I laid out in the OP is just the order in which the 'judges' (ie: the 'imaginary writer') will be selecting the members in filling the slots, so everyone will know how the team will be built.

Imagine it's a Justice League title you're reading and the new line-up will be unveiled in an upcoming issue and you're having a chance to nominate up to ten characters to be considered for membership.
Just nominate your favorite characters and/or characters you'd like to see in the League.
You're basically voting for the characters, not the final make-up of the team. So don't think you have to vote for certain power-sets or a balanced group.

A strong lineup.

I wanted the Trinity. And i am happy to see them.
At the same time i see no one else here whom i wanted to see.

I am happy to see Zatanna. I put in a lot of thought and removed her from my lineup. I put in the characters whom i am enjoying to read right now. Nice to see Martian Manhunter back. I don't see him nowadays. I would have preferred Wally over Barry.

It is nice to see Jessica. Not everyone shall be in the category of the big guns. Someone who is a rookie or else a legacy character improves the story. I would have preferred a legacy character like Cassandra (Batman) or Supergirl (Superman). Legacy in the sense that they belong to those families and bring young blood and fresh ideas. And Justice League shall nurture the future by bringing them in. A new character who is not supposed to be a big one can bring the fan within the story. Thus, i love Jessica here.

So, overall a good lineup. I would definitely read this book. And the Marvel 80's style sounds cool. Sign me up.

That's an interesting line up. I'm not a fan of Jessica, but wouldn't mind if she got the chance to be the green lantern of the Justice League. Zatanna is an interesting addition and having her will certainly help the team. I am extremely glad to see J'onn in the team along with Superman, he deserves it.

#3 and #4: return of Starbreaker, focus on Jessica; appearances by Blackfire, Starfire and the Omega Men
#5: the Global Guardians appear, Queen Bee cameo; intro of new JL Satellite
#6: Vixen guest stars; intro new Amazo
#7: Batman moves to reserves, Vixen joins; vs. Vandal Savage
#8 and #9: return of Despero, focus on J'onn; Aquaman guest stars
#10: return of Felix Faust; Black Lightning, Queen Bee and the Global Guardians appear
#11 and #12: versus Felix Faust and the Demon Three, focus on Zatanna; Batman subs for Superman, Black Lightning guest stars
Annual #1 - the new League is forced to fight the Global Guardians; Queen Bee and Amazo appear; re-intro Professor Ivo; Batman and Superman both appear; Vandal Savage cameo

By the end of the first year, Queen Bee, Vandal Savage and Blackfire would be set up as arch-enemies of the team and the Global Guardians and Injustice League would have recurring appearances, both with member changes.
It would also be arranged with the Wonder Woman writer for Queen Bee to make an appearance in her solo book to strengthen the rivalry.

In addition, DC Editorial would be adjusted to have Justice League, Wonder Woman, Flash, one Batman title and one Superman title all under the same editor. The selected Batman and Superman titles would be co-edited with their respective family Editors.

And then, near the end of the second year a couple Leaguers would be leaving and we'd have another line-up change.

That sounds pretty cool. I love that Queen Bee is set up as a big league threat (probably manipulating the confrontation with the Global Guardians?). It seems like a new League forms, and it's off to fight Darkseid, or one of the other old standbys. Felix Faust and the Demons Three sound like some serious mystical firepower, as well, so that's also very cool.

Of my votes, only Martian Manhunter made it into the first seven, but it sounds like Vixen, who was pretty close to my number one choice, was right there in the wings.

I've thought about it... but with the sheer number of villains to sift through and the wide variety of votes it'd likely get.. I'd probably end up with a large list that would still need thinning out.

Great line-up. Really surprised and glad by Jessica's popularity. Also, apparently people REALLY want to see Diana as leader which is awesome.
