All of them fine men; there's definitely no way to say with certainty who's best, and that goes for women as well.
If we're talking about Scott/Jean, she is not a prize. If we're talking about Logan/Jean, she's not a prize. However, if we're talking about the love triangle? Yes, she is definitely a prize in that scenario.
Scott is totally nerdy. Being a socially-inept, self-doubting nerd thrust into a position of leadership is the very essense of the character.
Also I don't see how he does "pretend nice-guy". He's always been honest about being a bossy control-freak with poor understanding of social niceties.
cyke is the hot nerd and hank.... is just the nerd
To be fair, before he turned into a cat-person, Hank was totally hot. Especially during his Avenger years when he was portrayed as quite the lothario.
i know this is a little off-topic but i do think hank is hotter on fur and blue
Cyclops isn't really a nerd, he's more of a square (dullard, boring person).
That said, if the last thing I want to read about is Jean getting together with Logan and getting trashy with it, then the second to last thing I want to read about is Jean getting together with Scott as some sort of 'redemption' arc for Scott. I can practically picture the sanctimonious lectures already.
Scott doesn't need redemption. What the X-men need is reconciliation.
And I think Jean might be able to facilitate that.
However, if Jean and Scott eventually use their experiences with the Phoenix to get closer to each other, then I might see that working.
Ultimately, the 'resolution' to this 'triangle' is friendship.
By which I mean nobody gets together with anybody. For a long, long, loooooong time.
That, and for creeper Logan to take his creeper hair-sniffing somewhere else.

Whoa, whoa, to some of you peeps.
Socially inept and fearful or not forthright in approach to women /= nerd.
Sure, some nerds are also the left side of that non-equation but not all of them.
Beast is an actual nerd, from his brainy way of speaking down to the bookish interests none of his friends care about.
