I have zero familiarity with the original Wild Storm run, but I just got into the current Wild Storm and Mike Cray books, and they are hands down the coolest thing DC has coming out currently. Feels like when Marvel had Jonathan Hickman.

While doing a bit of rereading, I noticed something I had not really picked up on the first time around.
When Craven goes into the details of Project Thunderbook and what happened when Lynch quit, Craven points out that three of the program's buildings mysteriously burned down.

Well, that was certainly an interesting wrap up to a first year. Cole's "Professional" punchline may have been the highlight of the series so far. The symbolism in the interlude that closed the book was a winner.
I think by the end of the 24 issue run, IO and Skywatch will be exposed. Or at least the existence of aliens and superbeings, giving way to a new Authority book exploring the reflexes of metahumans on society.
Wildstorm could continue as the conspiracy book or be replaced by WildCats as a black-ops counterpart to the much more high-profile Authority.
Yep,and apparentely, they will be mashed up with their progenitors. Same as Swift/Doctor.
