I wasn't around when Wildstorm was hot but I picked up the first trade and liked it a lot for its different feel and the art. Plus some of Ellis' shocking dialogue.

One other "Minor" spoiler from issue number nine...

    spoilers:
While it has already been hinted at strongly in a a previous issue, issue number nine seems to cement that Lucy/Zealot was part of Marlowe's Earth mission.

Shameless DC promotion but still I liked the Wild Storm titles.

What likes me the more is the sci fi heavy feeling in the books and how you can twist all the characters into a new yet familiar direction.

My question is having never read any of the original Wildstorm will I enjoy this new take on both books. I am so far but what I have trouble following is what may be 3 factions at cross purposes with each other. Thanks for covering this by the way.

Is there anything in particular that you have trouble following?

Mild Spoilers for The Wild Storm #10 -

    spoilers:
Marlowe's CAT enlist Angie's help for contending with what John uncovered. We get a small peak at Skywatch. The Doctor explains to Jenny that she was created by a Daemon machine to act as a self-defense mechanism for Earth. A member of Marlowe's CAT runs into a fellow folks call "The Mayor" outside of a bodega that seems to be Jack Hawksmoor(or a character much like him). The issue closes with "The Mayor" running up the side of a wall to dive into the street. Priscilla/Voodoo sees this, and realizes that "It" must all be real and will lead to war.
    end of spoilers

I have yet to be disappointed by a single issue of this series. Issue 10 continues that trend.

    One reader's take...

It has been nothing short of brilliant the entire run.

Is it alright if I say that I like the Mayor way more than I like Jack Hawksmoor?

Just checked out the first issue of Michael Cray and damn was I impressed. It had better writing and made me feel a greater spectrum of emotions than the vast majority of Rebirth titles. I need to catch up on this book.
