I'm trade waiting this series, but I'm very happy to hear there's a Jack hawksmoor type now. Out of Wildstorm my favorite aspects has always been the Doctors, Century Babies, and City Gods.
The mayor is Jack Hawksmoor, no doubt about it,
He also seemed pretty faithful to the original to me, only in a better mood.
ConnEr Kent flies. ConnOr Hawke has a bow. Batman's kid is named DamiAn.

Preview for The Wild Storm #11...

Sweet christmas! The return (or first appearance) of the Authority is close.
But I still expecting issue 13. I want to see if Ellis bring back Lynch and the kids in that number.
"Never assign to malice what is adequately explained by stupidity or ignorance."
"Great stories will always return to their original forms"
"Nobody is more dangerous than he who imagines himself pure in heart; for his purity, by definition, is unassailable." James Baldwin
There is a lot to explore yet. As jenny said in the preview there are a lot of individuals with powers, most possible born from teh daemon and kheran intervention.
I wish than Ellis could bring back the Sword back too.

THE WILD STORM #13
Written by WARREN ELLIS • Art and cover by JON DAVIS-HUNT • Variant cover by FRANCESCO FRANCAVILLA
John Lynch, once the director of IO, the secret deep-state agency that runs Earth, is on the road. His darkest project, Thunderbook, has been uncovered, and he needs to warn the principals, now scattered across America. Hiding. Because they were his most successful experiments. And none of them are completely human anymore.

Well...
I wonder how Cole fits into that, and if his faked death was part of whatever Lynch did.
I miss Cole a LOT.
On the latest issue...
- We catch IO's plan from the preview.
- Catch up with Angela
- Get some details on how some of the players are connected.
Kept that vague to avoid spoilers.
In my opinion, this is the best series D.C. is putting on the stands right now. (Sorry Mister Miracle, Doomsday Clock, and Young Animal). What a stellar continuation.
Is Michael Cray cancelled? I didn't see him in the DC solicits.
